Felipe Félix Lazcano and Camille Sapu made the canonical visit April 19 through 26 to the delegation of Holland. They visited two communities: Den Bosch and Teterigen. They spent two days at Den Bosch and they made a visit to the SSCC sisters in Nuland. At present, the delegation is made up of eighteen brothers at home in Holland and abroad.
From Den Bosch they left for Teterigen. There they had a meeting with the government of the Delegation with the participation of the financial officer, Alex Aarts (layman). They visited a brother at Zuiderhout a neighborhood home for the sick close to the community. In addition, they visited “Damien Center” in Oedenrode.
On the final day of the day there was an assembly of the Delegation. Almost all were present. The visitors shared seven words which came from the different conversations with the brothers: joy, thanks, mission, acceptance, togetherness, organization and “the force of weakness.” There are the seven words which in the judgement of the visitors will help the brothers of the Delegation at this moment in their history.
Jan Musters the superior of the delegation, thanks the visitors and the entire assembly. The closing Eucharist was presided by Camille Sapu in Dutch and the homily was given by Felipe Felix Lazcano.
