The Constitutions Commission met during the week of the 24th to 19th May. On this occasion they used a new formula: Mercedes Bayo and Aurora Laguarda in the Generalate, in Rome, and Patricia Villarroel in the Santa Inés community in Viña del Mar, Chile. Once more, it was an opportunity to confirm how technical means can facilitate work and allow us to combine tasks or to respond to needs which arise in the course of life.
Work on the chapters of the Constitutions was completed, the report, which the Commission will present to the 36th General Chapter, was drawn up and some proposals about certain points of the Constitutions were made.
It was also an opportunity to revise all the work carried out during these years, to discover the richness of what has been learned and to give thanks for the collaboration of the sisters, without whom it would not have been possible to respond to the service requested of us.
