Following the tradition, a new batch of novices began on 7 September 2017 at“Christus Rex”, the “mother house” of Polish Province, in Polanica Zdrój. During a very simple celebration two young men, Dawid and Michal, made their commitment to start their canonical novitiate. The rite was presided by Fr. Radoslaw (Radek) Ziezio sscc, the superior of the community, who until now has been the novice master. To whom this task is now entrusted is Fr. Kamil Wawro sscc, hitherto socius of the master.

The next day, 8 September 2017, the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, also according to tradition of Polish Province, the first professions were celebrated. After one year of novitiate, Grzegorz and Jakub made their first profession. The celebration took place in the oratory of community, which is very rich in symbolism related to our charism. It was presided over by Fr. Piotr Budrewic sscc, the Provincial of Poland.
This happy moment was attended by many brothers from the province and by the family and friends of our new professed brothers. The province is very glad to have new members in initial formation.
