On 30th August, the feast of Blessed Eustáquio van Lieshout, the Congregation and the Archdiocese of Belo Horizonte jointly commemorated 100 years of the priestly ordination of this celebrated healer. Walmor Oliveira de Azevedo, archbishop of Belo Horizonte and President of the Episcopal Conference of Brazil, has granted a year of special indulgence in honour of Eustáquio. The day itself was marked by the celebrations of the Eucharist and visits of up to 25,000 pilgrims to the sanctuary. Health and peace!
