On 1st September, 2019 the second stage of the Final Vows Preparation Program began at Picpus, Paris. The first stage of the final vows preparation has already taken place in Indonesia. The Indonesian brothers who are participating in this preparation program for Final Vows are Br. Felix Kapitan Goran sscc and Br. Joseph Bala Roma sscc.
For the program in France they are being accompanied by members of the two branches: Fr. Bernard, Fr. Christian Flottes, Sr. Jeanne, Sr. Marie Gabrielle, Fr. Ferry, Fr. Remi, Fr. Valentinus. Also we mustn’t forget to mention Sr. Eulogia who has travelled to Poitiers from Paris to help prepare the meals for the brothers during the program. Members of the SSCC Secular Branch in Poitiers are helping with transport
During these first days in Picpus, the brothers were invited to return to the well, a symbol of the source of SSCC spirituality and charism.
The Good Father Coudrin once said: “We need a name which will remind our brothers each day of their duties and obligations, to help them never forget that that they must enter into the silence of the cloister only to find new strength to combat more courageously the enemies of religion; that in the final analysis their vocation is zeal and is to be inflamed with zeal.”
