During the afternoon of Monday, 25th March at the Faculty of Theology of the Pontifical Urban University of Rome, Raja Sebastian, ss.cc presented his doctoral thesis, the title of which was: "Christian nonviolence (ahimsa) in the context of the Tamils ??of India: Theological Foundation". The tribune was presided over by Professor John Egbulefu - former student of Joseph Ratzinger - and the readers were Kokou Atakpa and Maurizio Gronchi. Raja was supported by a number of his ss.cc. brothers and sisters from Rome and by the lay staff in via Rivarone as well as a large group of friends from different religious congregations. In total, about a hundred people occupied the "John Henry Newmann" classroom. Raja defended his thesis, which was approved. He will receive his doctorate when the thesis is published. After his presentation food and drink were offered in one of the University rooms.
