From August 4 to 8, 2025, the brothers of the Province of Brazil took part in the Provincial Retreat at the Sacred Hearts Retreat House in Pindamonhangaba (SP). The meeting was guided by Fr. André Araújo, SJ, who led the reflections based on the Ignatian methodology, fostering a time of silence, personal prayer, and community discernment.
Throughout the days, the brothers deepened their listening to the Word of God, strengthening their spirituality and missionary commitment.
The highlight of the retreat took place on August 7, when everyone went to the National Shrine of Our Lady Aparecida for a thanksgiving celebration marking the 100th anniversary of the arrival of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts in Brazil.
