On Friday, 25th October, Father Christian Malrieu, ss.cc visited our house in Rome accompanied by a group from the Diocese of Evry. The group was on a pilgrimage to Rome and came from the parishes of Draveil and Vigneux, which Father Christian accompanies at this moment. Through the tablets of Easter Island and other pieces located in the sscc museum based in the Generalate, the group was able to discover some of the missionary activity and history of the Congregation. The visitors also saw some handwritten letters from Damien de Molokai, (very appropriate considering this year marks ten years since his canonisation).
The group will participate tomorrow in the closing Mass of the Synod of the Amazon, presided over by Pope Francis.
