A meeting of the ‘second stage’ of the SSCC sisters and brothers in Spain took place from 6-7 March at the San José House of Spirituality in El Escorial (Madrid). The meeting was animated by María Isabel Ardanza Mendilíbar, Carmelite Sister of Charity (Vedruna).
Among the topics addressed was the spiritual itinerary of Peter, the prototype disciple. She looked at his figure and at the significant moments of his discipleship: beside the Jordan, his call by the lake, his confession at Caesarea Philippi, his ascent to Jerusalem, the last supper and his encounter with the Risen Lord.
