After several months of work, the Pierre Coudrin–Picpus community inaugurated its new oratory on Monday, December 15, during a blessing ceremony celebrated at 7:30 p.m. in the course of Vespers. The ceremony took place in the presence of the Provincial Father, Bertrand Cherrier, who was visiting Picpus as part of his canonical visitation on December 15 and 16. Three Sisters of the congregation (Evelyne, Marie-Hélène, and Eulogia), as well as Estelle, a student at the Catholic Institute of Paris and close to the community, were also present to share this moment of prayer and fraternal joy.
In words marked by simplicity and depth, the Provincial Father recalled the profound vocation of the oratory: a place of prayer, spiritual renewal, and encounter, fostering inner peace. His words emphasized the importance of this space in the daily life of the Brothers and of all those who will cross its threshold.
The celebration was followed by a convivial meal, marked by gratitude, shared joy, and a deep spirit of fraternity.
