The episcopal ordination of Fr. Sergio Pérez de Arce Arriagada sscc, Bishop elect of Chillán, will take place on Saturday 11 July at 4 p.m. The ordaining bishops will be: Alberto Ortega Martín, Apostolic Nuncio to Chile; Archbishop Fernando Chomalí Garib, Archbishop of Concepción; and Bishop Galo Fernández Villaseca, Apostolic Administrator of Talca. Alberto Toutin sscc, Superior General, will also be present. The Eucharist will take place in the Cathedral Church of Chillán, without the presence of the faithful.
