Assembly of brothers and sisters 2018 (DR Congo)

From August 6 to 10 we had our annual assembly of brothers and sisters around the theme "Dare to say Our Father". For two days, Father Rémy KAMALUEYI spoke to us about this topic. In these interventions, he told us: The Our Father is first and foremost a family prayer. This family is both invisible (the saints) and visible (our brothers, our sisters) etc. Dare to say that Our Father means to be like God, to be like Him, not to hate Him. Daring to say Our Father also means to renounce all other tendencies: tribal, racial, ethnic ...; it is to transcend humanity to call us divine; It is to prohibit all other tendencies. To dare to say Our Father is to participate in the path of conversion, to do justice to all. To dare to say Our Father also means not to reduce God to the limit of our knowledge; God is in experience and not in knowledge. To dare to say Our Father must also be a witness of hope, a witness of the victory of life over death.

Later he reviewed some figures such as the couples Paul and Stephen, Peter and Judas, Martha and Mary, Peter and John, Bernabe and Paul and Mary and Elizabet. Each of these couples teaches us something. He concluded by saying that we can not dare to say Our Father if we can not forgive others for their faults (the father and the prodigal son).

Then we had a day when each branch worked separately. And the fourth day was reserved for sharing the work done. A fraternal meal put an end to our assembly. Next year we will not have the assembly of brothers and sisters because the brothers will celebrate their VII Provincial Chapter.
