The Assembly of the Territory of Spain took place on 29th and 30th August in El Escorial, Madrid. In addition to almost all the sisters from Spain, Mary Mc Closkey, Superior Delegate of the Zone, José Vivys, Coordinator of the Territory of Northern Europe and Goyi Marín and Aurora Laguarda, from Rome, were present.
The main theme of the Assembly was the implementation of the Roadmap, at personal, territorial and community levels, putting concrete actions to the objectives set. The Assembly was prepared by Nuria Lobo, Coordinator of the Territory and the local superiors. The dynamic used was based on different workshops, respecting the different rhythms of the sisters.
One session was dedicated to formation, with the theme: "Communication and Information", presented by Carolina Díaz de la Espina.
In response to one of the proposals of the PAC, concretized in the Roadmap of the Territory, the project "TODO" has been presented. Two associations, “Volunteers for another world” and “Málaga welcomes”, which work with young ex-tutelage migrants, have presented a proposal to welcome girls who need affection, a house to live in, and accompaniment. The proposal was very well received by the Assembly and now a decision will be made after discussion at the respective levels.
In the last session some information was given and the Assembly ended with the joy of a job well done.
