Alberto Toutin sscc and Fernando Cordero sscc, accompanied by Élcio Ruben Mota sscc, visited on the afternoon of May 2 the site where the future church dedicated to Blessed Father Eustaquio de Patrocínio will be built, before participating in the Eucharistic celebration held at the parish church of Saint Damien of Molokai, on the occasion of the canonical visit to the sscc community.
During the visit, the architect responsible for the project, Mr. Cerli and his wife, who are active members of parish life and deeply committed to this long-awaited pastoral initiative, were also present.
The future church will be inspired by the Sanctuary of Health and Peace in Belo Horizonte, one of the most emblematic places linked to the spirituality of Father Eustaquio. The façade will incorporate symbolic elements indicated by the blessed himself: three doors representing the Holy Trinity, references to the seven sacraments, and the presence of the twelve apostles.
Through the plans already designed, the architect explained the main architectural and pastoral details of the project, highlighting the spiritual and community identity that the new space will embody.
At the end of the visit, Alberto expressed gratitude for the effort and dedication of all those working on this project, encouraging them to continue forward with enthusiasm and commitment in the construction of this new church, destined to become a place of faith, welcome, and encounter for the whole community.
