The Territory of Spain joyfully celebrated the perpetual profession of Beatriz García Comyn sscc, on Saturday, November 21, in the chapel of El Paraíso, school in Madrid.
Bea pronounced her final vows during a Eucharist presided over by Pedro Gordillo SSCC, Vicar Provincial. It was celebration full of symbols that spoke of simplicity, sobriety and, at the same time, the solemnity of this moment.
Nuria Lobo sscc, Coordinator of the Territory of Spain, María Vidal sscc, general coordinator of Initial Formation, Sisters and Brothers of the Congregation, family, friends and some members of the educational community in which Bea does her pastoral work, were present at the ceremony. In her homily, Nuria Lobo spoke some profound words, alluding to the Gospel of Luke 12,27ff and how God has been present throughout Beatriz's life.
In the end, Bea simply expressed her gratitude for this celebration and the different experiences throughout her history in this sscc family. The celebration took place following the required health protocols.
