During this Easter season, the elderly brothers of the Sacred Hearts in the Iberian Province gather for a few days of community life, prayer, and formation at the house in El Escorial.
Among others, they were joined by José María Fernández-Martos, SJ, who accompanied his reflection with Scripture and poetic texts, illustrated by a striking image: an elderly couple on a motorbike greeting “Good morning,” alongside the phrase: “Your body ages without your permission. Your spirit only if you allow it.”
