From Saturday, May 17, the CAP team responsible for organizing program “six months of preparation for final vows” is meeting in Manila (Philippines). Team is composed of Santhosh Thottankara (India), coordinator; Camille Sapu (Roma) and Enrique Moreno (Philippines). Although there are still more than two years for performing, the idea is to present the project at the Enlarged General Council in Rome next September.
This idea was presented in 2008 at the initiative of the General Government, and has been confirmed in all meetings of CAP Executive, but various reasons delayed their implementation. At the last meeting of the CAP Executive in 2013, the program was again ratified and concrete decisions were taken for completion in 2016.
Meetings will conclude in coming mid-week. The first results of this work said it could count on approximately 10 participants for 2016, including people from Asia only; and if the program is opened to other continents such as Africa, Europe and Latin America, the total number could approach 15 people.
