Pilgrimage (France)

Like every first Sunday of August, a hundred or so cyclists, children, parents and grandparents set off along the cycle paths of the Rhuys peninsula for a pilgrimage to discover unknown places and hidden chapels, away from the tourist circuits.

This year, around one hundred participants set off from the community of Sarzeau in five groups of twenty cyclists.

The route took them to the church of Saint Colombier and the chapel of Saint Anne de Grappon, where they stop to pray in front of the statue of Saint Anne near the Tour du Parc (Banastère) They celebrated the Eucharist in Sarzeau at the end of the pilgrimage. The theme and meditation of the day was "the Magnificat". A beautiful way to prepare for the feast of 15 August.
