The Province of Brazil is celebrating its IX Provincial Chapter in Pindamonhagaba (SP). By 20 January afternoon almost all the brothers of the province at the "Pinda" house (Pindamonhagaba), which is being renovated for use as a retreat house and shelter. In the past this house was mainly used for formation.
On 21 January, all brothers, not only the capitulants, were present to hear the reports of the provincial and the regional superior of Paraguay.
In the afternoon there was the perpetual profession of Alexandre de Campos. The Eucharist was presided over by Don Luiz Manchilla sscc, archbishop of Vitoria (Holy Spirit), who happened to be in the area. The provincial, Marcus Vinicius Maciel sscc, received the vows. People close to the Congregation, and family and friends Alexandre, who is a native of Pindamonhagaba, filled the chapel of the retreat house.
The financial report was presented on 22 January. Subsequently, non-Chapter members traveled to Boraceia (SP), where the assembly of the province will be held when the Chapter is over.
The Chapter, which will end on the 23 January, will elect a new Provincial Government and, among other decisions, will adopt a mission plan for the province.
