From 26-30 June, Jean Blaise Mwanda and Fernando Cordero visited the community of Valparaiso. Besides a personal conversation with each brother, they celebrated the Eucharist and held a meeting with the sscc community, where they encouraged the brothers to take care of themselves in the midst of the various tasks they carry out.
They visited the SSCC School in Viña del Mar and the San Damiano de Molokai School in Valparaiso. They also met with the SSCC Board of Trustees and the educational communities of both schools who are committed to working towards the transformation of society through education. All of this was very interesting.
Before leaving for Santiago, they were able to witness the inauguration ceremony of the Art Room in the SSCC church of Valparaiso, with a permanent exhibition of the work of Father Antoine Knibily.
They were also able to meet with the sscc sisters of the community of Santa Inés (Viña del Mar) and Josefina Cataldo, mother of Alberto Toutin.
