From 10 to 13 July, Jean Blaise Mwanda and Fernando Cordero visited the SSCC brothers in Concepción. They had a morning meeting on 11 July with the management team of the Sagrados Corazones School and visited the facilities of this centre.
In the afternoon, they visited the Casa Padre Esteban centre dedicated to youth ministry activities. They also visited several places where migrants live and are cared for in the Parish of Santa Madre de Dios, entrusted to the Congregation. These migrants told them their stories and the situation in which they find themselves, as many of them live in small rented rooms. Later they celebrated the Eucharist in the parish church and learned about the objectives of the parish pastoral council.
After a personal conversation with each brother, there was a community meeting and the final Eucharist to mark the end of the visit. The community took the visitors to the mouth of the Biobío River, where they saw the ferocity of the Pacific.
