Tatiana López Miranda has travelled from Chile to the Alps to fulfil her dream - to prepare herself to fly to the stars. A few months ago, and at just over twenty-three years of age, this young student of Aerospace Engineering at the University of Concepción was selected from among eighteen promising young people from all over the world to be the first analogue astronaut from Chile. She had to work hard to reach the final rung of a tough and demanding selection process. Ever since she was a child, Tatiana has dreamed of reaching for the stars, a goal that is getting closer and closer.
Tatiana is a girl like any other, a hard worker and a dreamer in equal parts, involved in society and aware of the challenges of the century. A student throughout her education at the Sacred Hearts School in Concepción, she did not disassociate herself from the congregation. For years she has been a mentor to the youth communities and has also acted as assistant to the congregation's spiritual retreat.
