From September 24 to October 6, Vinicius Maciel sscc was at our General House in Via Rivarone to continue research on the history of the Congregation’s presence in Brazil (Sisters, Brothers, and Secular Branch).
This study was carried out in the Sisters’ General Archives with the assistance of Beatriz Montaner sscc, and in the Brothers’ General Secretariat Archives.
The research included documentary clarifications on certain aspects of the history of the Canonization Process of Blessed Eustáquio van Lieshout.
As Vice Postulator, he held a meeting with Andrzej Lukawski sscc, Postulator General, concerning the future of Fr. Eustáquio’s cause and the promotion of the causes of the Founders and other brothers in process. They also discussed guidelines for the study of extraordinary graces.
