"The colour of prayer" is the name of the room that gathers fifty paintings of the priest Antoine Knibily and is an appreciated collection of deep spirituality, characterized by the use of colour that shows human depth and the infinite mercy of God. The inauguration of the Sacred Hearts Space Cultural Centre of Valparaíso took place on Thursday, 30 June.
The inauguration began with a ceremony in the sacristy of the Sacred Hearts Church of Valparaíso, followed by the traditional ribbon cutting, blessing of the commemorative plaque, lighting of the lights and opening of the door on the second floor. The bishop of Valparaíso, Valparaíso, gave the blessing and gave "thanks to God for those who planned and built this space".
Fernando Cordero and Jean Blaise Mwanda were invited to cut the tricolour ribbon at the entrance to the exhibition hall. Jean-Blaise summarised the experience in this way: "This space is very interesting because it is an expression of our spirituality through painting. It is impressive how Antoine manages to manifest the love and mercy of God. He made this the inspiration of his life and his way to evangelize. This room is a form of art that communicates and transmits joy and life, and the love of God that we preach about so much."
