Sister Concha (Maria Concepción) Arnaíz Presa, 88 years old, died on January 1st , 2015 in El Escorial, Madrid, Spain.
She entered the novitiate in 1948 in El Escorial, Spain and she pronounced her perpetual vows on August 6, 1953 in Paris, France.
Concha (name by which she was known) spent many years in Africa, first in Kinshasa and later in Mozambique. She worked mainly as a nurse, caring for patients in clinics and often for SSCC brothers and sisters who were ill. During those years in Africa she accompanied the entrance of the first generations of African brothers and sisters in the Congregation. We all remember her with great affection and gratitude.
