
On February 11, 2013, Fr. Leo King, ss.cc. died peacefully in his room at Damien Residence in Fairhaven, Massachusetts while listening to Mass being celebrated by his brothers in Damien Chapel. Having celebrated his 95th birthday on October 7 of last year, Fr. Leo was the oldest member of the Congregation’s United States Province.
He entered the novitiate in 1939 and he was professed on September 14, 1940, in Fairhaven (U.S.A.). He was ordained a priest in Washington (U.S.A.) on May 25, 1945.
